Want to get more involved in Philly nonprofits? Board Prep applications are open!

Philly has no shortage of community groups doing amazing work for us. Many of them are looking for new board members!

If you’ve ever thought about joining a nonprofit board or just want to build your civic leadership skills, Young Involved Philadelphia’s Board Prep program might be for you.

Applications are still open, and our first session kicks off Wednesday, September 17th. The program is designed for professionals who want to learn what it takes to serve on a board and get connected to local organizations that are making a difference.

A few quick things to know:

• We offer flexible payment plans and scholarships
• All online sessions are recorded so you don’t miss anything
• You’ll join a network of 700+ alumni who now serve on boards and lead projects across the city

If you or a friend want to get more plugged into Philly’s civic life, this is a great place to start.
