Good hole in the wall/less expensive eateries in the French Quarter?

My family and I are staying here for the week and we realized all the food recommendations are $$$ - looking for something more in the $-$$ range. Would love some local spots for recommendations!

We do have a traveler with a shellfish allergy but also have people looking specifically for good shellfish/seafood places, so we’re open to all suggestion! TIA
