optional endgame zone

Hello i just did Verdania but i made a mistake.
i beat green prince before the white deer boss and it kicked me out of the memory.
i thought green prince was the optional one so i didnt do the other first he also looked more annoyoing .
So i would like to know what happen when you defeat the white deer thing? you get something?
