What if luffy or others MCs had return by death instead of their normal abilities? [discussion]

For me, it would be interesting for One peice, would happen if luffy ate a devil fruit ( let's say shanks found another one on a marine ship or island and he ate that one ) And that gave him RBD, and he isn't able to talk about it ( Many characters say that a Devil Fruit is cursed, and that by eating one you have a “devil inside you.” That’s why you lose the ability to swim—it's often described as the “sea rejecting the devil", oda has never confirmed this, but if not true, let's say this fruit is special and has a devil named "Satella" inside wich won't let luffy talk about his powers) considering most of luffys strengh in the beginning is from the Gum Gum fruit, he would be pretty weak, less versatile and not immune to bullets, wich would lead him to dying at some point, and perhaps instead of miasma coming out when he dies or tries to talk about it, you could make it haki, or just make nothing happen, I'd love to see a fanfic about this.
