New job comes with extreme overstimulation

Need to talk...

I started a job as a bus aide/bus assistant this school year. It's a sped bus and so...fulfilling. we have three groups of kids and I care so much about them. I would do anything for them. They make my entire life better. But some days I feel like a shell of a person. Like I give so much of myself making sure they are all okay for the entire ride. It's my job, nbd. My bus driver is something else. He talks constantly. About everything. My house, his house, his wife, his kids, his boss, his bus, other drivers, his cars, cars he's had, cars of his boss's, so much. I am holding onto my energy and emotions so hard, as hard as I can. But by the end of the day (or between kid pick ups if i don't make it that far) just unable to speak or act interested or anything. I just want a break. But between work, online college of mine, and working on a place to live, the break never comes. How do other people working in the school system deal with the emotional exhaustion?
