Exposed weeping tile for four years - can I diy a fix?
So, I will say upfront that I know I'm ridiculous for this but I'm hoping you can help. We're four years past the build of these townhomes and I didn't notice until recently that maybe the hole in our shared yard in front of the porch wasn't actually supposed to be there. At one point, there were drain catchers there and someone took them away and never came back to finish grading I guess. I assumed it was an ugly grate for a too big cold room. When the hole started getting bigger, I finally went to google again. Turns out, it's the foundation weeping tile exposed. Cool, cool, cool...
Can I just fill this in with clear rock and call it a day or do I need to bring a professional by to make sure things are on the up and up? I have tons of clear rock and landscaping fabric from my garden projects and that's what my instinct is but my instincts also told me this was supposed to be like this. Could you help me out?
