Struggling to get another job

Hi, I just want some advice regarding this or if anyone is going through similar. I understand there's a recruitment freeze at the moment...

I have several years acute experience in nursing and I have applied for various jobs but I don't hear anything back. I also add extra qualifications such as academic assessor course. One of the roles I've applied for is a PIP assessor role which I really wanted as ideally I don't want a patient-facing role anymore. I tailor my CV to the job specification and I still don't hear anything back/get called for an interview. Any tips or ideas on why this may be?
