Updated the software from the infotainment and now I cant use GPS/Internet

I dropped the vehicle into service center, they ran tests and shared a report stating these are known GMC issues and nothing can be done but wait for GMC to release a new software update to fix.
As it stands my new truck cant use any GPS, stream music, etc...
I tried soft reset (holding call end) and hard reset going into settings, and erasing profile, then signing back in (which I had to do by enabling hotspot on my phone and connect truck to hotspot) butstill no go.
Anyone else have reports about this or what to do?
For now I'm having to use Waze from my phone and stream music over Bluetooth.
