How to Paint Sylvaneth Wood as a Newbie

Hi everyone!

My boyfriend and I are planning getting into Warhammer AoS. I chose Sylvaneth as my first faction but am very new to painting minis. After spending the last days trying to understand the differences between the different kinds of paints I am now wondering how I should proceed.

What kind of paints and techniques would you recommend for a newbie trying to color the wooden parts:

Option A Primer Brown Contrast Paint Drybrushing with various lighter shades

Option B Primer Brown Base Paint Dark Wash Drybrushing with various lighter paints

The ghostly parts I would like to paint with a blueish contrast as I like the look as well as some pink for cherry blossoms.

What do you think will be the easiest and/ or cheapest option (even with this very expensive hobby :D) and have I maybe missed something obvious?

I know there's a lot of tutorials online and such but it its fairly hard to navigate through and find something beginner friendly.
