Interim PM Debate: Why Harka Samphang, Not Balen, Might Save Us
Many people want Balen as PM. But let’s be realistic: • He’s waiting for a 5-year plan, not a 6-month interim role. • If he accepts interim PM, he risks losing eligibility for future candidacy.
That leaves us with Harka Samphang from Dharan. • He’s not tied to any old dynasty political party. • He doesn’t carry the same baggage.
•In crisis, we have to compromise.
The “former CJI” option is weak — she was appointed by Oli, so people already doubt her neutrality.
If we don’t act fast, the 3 Billionaire Bad Boys will creep back into power.
Don’t forget:
• Parliament is not dissolved yet. • Parties are already making another mess.
We must push for: • Strict rules for interim government. • Elections within 6 months, no Bangladesh-style tricks to skip them. • Clear demand: If elections don’t happen, we protest again.
Yes, some of you will scold me for suggesting Harka. But let’s be honest — we don’t have much time, and options are limited. Sometimes bad times call for compromise.
The clock is ticking.
