Something that DOES need to be said and addressed. Some of ya’ll take this television show WAY too seriously and personally. The parasocial relationship a lot of y’all have with the cast members is INSANE.

I LOVE Jersey Shore like everyone else on this subreddit and I enjoy interacting but… reading a lot of the comments people on this subreddit post and BOY.. A LOT of ya’ll need to chill the fuck out man. There’s nothing wrong with being invested and commenting on the show and being interested in the television show since we’re all fans of it. But some of ya’ll take it WAY TOO FAR with your comments. Especially towards Angelina. You’d think she’s the Devil Incarnate the way some of ya’ll describe and talk about her. You’d think she’s the worst person in the history of humanity based off what a lot of ya’ll say about her as opposed to her being a person who just acts over the top on a fake scripted reality television show. We don’t know any of these people. Like AT ALL. We only see a very small percentage of their “lives” and even that is a fake manufactured produced edited version of their “lives”. We don’t really know these cast members off camera like that. Other than what they post on their social media’s or if they are in the news for something they did ( I.e RON ). To not like Angelina or any of the other cast members based off their antics on the show is one thing. But personal attacks ain’t it. Especially when they don’t even do anything to warrant such a thing. ( With the exception of Ron ).

This isn’t being a white knight or anything. But cmon. A woman who NONE of us know on a personal level who acts over the top on this fake produced tv show does not warrant the constant abuse and harassment and the unnecessary shit talk that some of y’all dish out to Angelina. We can hate her antics and over the top behaviour she acts on the show but to unnecessarily talk shit about her for no reason ain’t it. Especially in posts and comment threads that have NOTHING to do with her and people still talk trash about her for no real reason. People who say “Everyone on the show hates Angelina” like they all don’t have an off screen relationship with her. We don’t know what these people are like with her or each other off screen. With the exception of Sam and Ron for obvious reasons, everyone else all have relationships with each other off camera. The whole “everyone hates Angelina” discourse is ridiculous when we don’t even know any other cast members like that. Being this in your feelings over a reality tv show actress who none of us know personally is insane.
