Laundry

Question

If someone infectious folds your laundry, how likely would you be to get sick after touching or wearing those clothes?

I live with people that aren’t cautious and we often fold our clothes for each other (just a chore same as doing dishes or taking out the trash). All of us have some flavor of allergies and asthma, so it’s hard to tell if someone is sick unless they have a fever or are testing (which they don’t do unless they have a fever). I’m thinking that the clothes should be okay because 1) fomite transmission is less of an issue than airborne and 2) the heat in the dryer probably helped, but I still wanted to see if anyone knew of any research or studies on this topic.

Tldr: living with people not cautious is exhausting because you overthink everything :(
