Chase Freedom Flex: I had a sapphire preferred and closed it a few months ago to open a FF in order to get the bonus points.

Chase is now telling me it was counted as a product change and won’t give me the points. I am super pissed. I even spoke to a customer service agent before doing this to make sure I would get the points. I want them to remedy this. Has anyone had any success with this?
