DMV have the wrong visa / immigration status

Not sure if anyone has had similar experience but I’m currently on the L1 visa, have been approved for H1B but didn’t activate it and chose to stay on L1. I went to the DMV and in their system my visa status is already changed to H1B, even though my I-94 shows that I’m on the L1 visa.

What’s going on?
