Everything wrong with E.O.F

A list of everything i think is currently making the game a worse experience, a lot of it are things that have already been said before, but i thought it would be simpler to try and put everything under one post instead of a new thread for each complaint, i really hope bungie sees this, please feel free to also voice your mind on the state of the game in the comments.

1. featured gear: i think its completely redundant, dont like how this is basically just sunsetting, which massively nerfs our arsenal, i dont like being told how to play the game i paid for, and most of all i feel like its a huge slap in the face for people who stuck around and showed loyalty in the worst of times, so now all my hard means nothing? just remove it, dont slowly turn what you want into feature gear, just completely remove the feature all together, why were all exotics not shipped as featured gear? why do we have to wait 3 more months for that change to happen when it can be done quicker by jus removing it all together.

2**. armor stat archetypes**: it makes zero sense for these to be so restrictive, kinda ruins the point of the new system, alot of gear was immediately obsolete are just hard nerfed because some stat combos just are not possible to obtain now, why were exotics not shipped with the new system?

3. armor upgrade cost: The cost to upgrade armor is insanely expensive, and it feel like it was done on purpose, cause it makes sense, to go from upgrade modules, something very cheap and accessible to unstable cores, if your above 400 and only play 1 charcter its not too bad because alot of gear doesn boost power, but if you are playing all 3 characters, with multiple builds, it is literally impossible to get them all to the same power without going broke in like 2 or 3 builds worth, i legit have to farm activites just for unstable cores.

4. forced difficulty: i think some higher difficulty things are way over tuned, to the point its not even fun any more, mythic, gm conquest etc. also why the hell am i being forced to sweat my ass off for casual content? i absolutely hate how i forced to run a gm for every single portal activity now, it makes me not want to play the game, i dont mind gms mostly, and dont mind good gear being only in gms, but EVERY SINGLE ACTIVITY BEING GM GETS OLD REALLY DAMN FAST, and you dont have a choice, because playing below your power level doesnt reward you at all, and the old systems weren't updated either.

5. nothing to do: the only new seasonal acitivty we got was the one on kepler, and thats on a random ass 3 hour timer that you can only play like once or twice, other than that, there is nothing new or interesting, you get slightly new interesting pieces of lore, but youre forced to replay old activities just to get them. like 99 percent of things in the portal is just old content.

6. raids and dungeons: they were completely abandoned, plain and simple, it is incredibly difficult to find a raid or dungeon group for any of them even for the new one, all of their gear should have been updated with new perks or to the new system and kept in the rotator, sure dungeon lairs are now in the game but it doesnt matter at all because the old gear isnt updated, updating that would have absolutely gotten people to play the game.

7. the power grind: i know this isnt new, but holy christ even out side of the prime enrame farm, if you are regular adult or someone who goes to school full time, its straight up impossible to get any where near the max power, power grinding isnt fun, its not the reason people log into the game, it should take no longer than a month, to get all three characters max power, it wouldnt matter if you could get max power in a week, if there are good rewards and fun activities to play people are going to play, but having none of that, plus an insane grind? they were asking for the game to die. also if they really think the game is struggling now, they are out of there mind if they seriously think people are going to do this all over again if they reset power, cant think of a bigger disregard to player time and investment than that.

8. where is the kickass armor?: there is legit no awesome armor to chase, no unique vanguard, gambit, or crucible armor, anything that is close to being cool you have to pay for either directly or by buying the expansion, i miss chasing certain activities to get a cool piece of armor just for the fashion, for a lot of people that is enough reason to play the game, the drip is non existent unless youre spending big bucks, the new taken set is a prime example, TEN WHOLE YEARS OF ASKING FOR THIS AND THEY LOCK It BEHIND A TWENTY DOLLARS PAYWALL. THIS PROVES THEY dont care about people playing the game, its just about money, because i bet my ass a ton of people would play the game right now if they found out there was some cool ass taken armor to chase with having to pay an arm and a leg. now all we have is extremely generic looking battle armor, they bungie didnt even bother to redesign with ash and iron, just a recolor of the exact same armor.

those are my thoughts right now, at least all the ones that are most noticable to me, im sure you guys have a ton more reasons for why this is the worst expansion in destinies history
