Book series like Uncharted

Hi everyone, I’ve been a huge fan of the Uncharted series for years and often replay the games or watch let’s plays a couple of times a year because I’m so drawn to their compelling stories and well-developed characters. I’ve been searching for book series that capture a similar vibe to Uncharted and satisfy my craving for more stories like it, but I’m looking for something specific. Beyond the treasure-hunting adventures and historical elements, what I love most about Uncharted is the deep character development and evolving relationships throughout the series. Uncharted 4, in particular, hit me hard because of the emotional weight of the characters’ journeys and their growth over time. I’m looking for book series recommendations that feature not only engaging stories and memorable characters but also meaningful character and relationship development across multiple books. I’d prefer series where the narrative builds on previous events, rather than standalone, self-contained stories that simply reuse the same characters.
