Weil-McLain Furnace using excessive power and eliminating DHW

We have an electric hot water and mini splits installed since we bought this rental house. Our power bills have always been high at our house and thought it was normal. The Domestic Hot Water supply was shut off to our furnace years ago and hasnt been used. In June of this year, I shut off the furnace to move a supply for a baseboard heater and didnt get around to fixing it until a few weeks ago. Over this summer we saved $200/$300 a month in power with the furnace off this summer. The model is WEIL-MCLAIN 386701027. There are 3 zones (Basement, First, Second) on Honeywell Home ProSeries smart thermostats that are set to 50 degrees in case the mini-splits dont keep up. Happy to share some photos if helpful but wondering if anyone has ideas onto what would be sucking up so much power and if its possibly related to however the plumber shut off the DHW on the furnace.
