PSA: Access advanced calibration options for H2D in Bambu Studio by switching printers
This might already be common knowledge, but sharing in case anyone else has been as frustrated as I have with calibrating filament temperature, retraction, and max flow rate on the H2D (especially given how few of their default profiles have been updated to support HF hotends).
Bambu recently exposed Orca Slicer's advanced calibration options in Bambu Studio for any printer except the H2D, which when selected hides the menu item:
Advanced calibration menu hidden for H2D
Advanced calibration menu available for X1C
Extremely annoyed by this and screwing around as a result, I discovered that if you create a custom filament profile configured for both printers, you're able to generate the calibration test for the X1C and then swap the printer to H2D. The test settings and temporary adjustments the the filament profile are maintained, and from there you can just slice and print. No custom G-code edits required.
Max flow rate test for H2D after swapping printers
I've tested the temperature, retraction, and max flow rate calibrations and they all worked great!
