why is my mic not working

my mic isnt working in game rn and its really annoying i can hear other people and it says my mic is activating but they cant hear me when i speak i have the hyper X cloud 2 and this was never a problem until i unplugged my IEMS. Ive done all the normal things like a checking settings and mic privacy so its got really annoying
