2025 Woodland- first interior clean and drive mode Qs for first winter

I just joined into the club July leasing a 2025 Woodland Edition and was hoping to pick up some tips and advice on a few things from fellow Rav drivers.

I've already secured a set of microfiber towels as well as both 303 Aerospace Interior cleaner and the protectant . Apologies for the dumb question but would I be better off spraying the cleaner onto the towel directly and wiping doen the interior vs spraying directly on the vinyl and interior? I obviously know to use a separate towel for dusting wipe down > clean > and I assume protectant wipe. I want to try and keep my Rav looking good up until lease end when I move to acquire it fully.

Also with our first winter together slowly approaching I wanted to see what folks used or recommended for drive mode in snow conditions between normal and eco. I feel like I got the impression I wouldn't want to use trail mode for general winter driving.
