Book for child not following our version of the Bible

Hi everyone,

Apologies for the probably overthinking q but I am a recent convert and still learning.

I have found a baby book with stories from the Bible for my godson with of course very simple wording for the audience of upto 4 yrs old.

Some of the stories are quoted from a different version of the Bible and not the one we would use.

Honestly, would you give this as a gift to a catholic family or find another book which more closely follows our version of the Bible? Or am I overrunning this and the wider picture it is good for the child to recieve a book which references the Bible.

Sorry if I have used the wrong terminology above, I want sure how to word this and feel a little embarrassed posting.
