How to explain this to a teenager and a small kid.
What ABTC does (Teenager version):
-
Recycles old lithium batteries to get lithium, nickemjl, cobalt, etc.
-
Makes new battery metals from U.S. resources.
-
Builds plants for large-scale recycling.
-
Uses cleaner, low-waste tech.
Why any U.S. gov would love to support it:
a) Energy security: Less need to buy battery metals from overseas.
b) Climate goals: Recycling cuts mining & pollution.
c) Jobs & economy: New plants = U.S. jobs.
d) Lower costs: Reusing metals keeps prices stable.
For a kid version:
The company is like a factory that takes apart old batteries, keeps the good stuff, and uses it again.
Every year, more people buy electric cars, scooters, and gadgets — all need batteries.
In 5, 10, 20 years there will be way more of them, and every one will need recycling.
If a company handles all those old batteries, how big do you think that could get?
