Best city to Live?

Hi everyone! I am a black woman in my young 20s planning to move to the bay area in a couple of months. I am going to live with my bf(white), but we haven’t decided on a specific city yet. I am from socal( san diego) and he is from the Alameda area but each time i visit there, i rarely see any black people, so ideally, a diverse community would be good. Of course he knows more about the region than I do, but I would like to get more insight from other people.
