I’m ready to throw hands with the algorithm!!!

Full disclosure this is a rant, I’m not offering any advise or adding anything to this group that will help anyone other than my self 😅 sorry I just need to vent cause my family and friends don’t get it- none of them fancy themselves creative and/or aren’t trying to do this whole YouTube thing. With that said, WTH is up with Shorts!!! Second disclaimer, I know Shorts are a fickle mistress that no one truly understands, again I just need to complain about this mofo real quick!!! I’m just so confused, I posted a short a month ago that got a little under 28000 views and earned the honor of being my most liked short, at 1800 likes, it was shared 15 times. Fast forward to a video I posted almost a week ago, earning my most shared short distinction, with 53 shares…. But the views plateaued, in that lovely way shorts love to do, at 12,000! With 979 likes. Finally my most viewed short, posted a year and some change ago stopped around 59,000 with only 538 likes and 21 shares. I just can’t fathom why my most shared short has such low views?! Mind you, I’ve got other vids with more views and less shares, I just don’t want to bore yall with all the details- it’s already bad enough I’m just on here with a woe is me story 😅 but anyway rant over. Thanks for taking the time to read this, if you did! Has anyone else had this sorta abusive relationship with the algorithm? Let me know or feel free to keep it to yourself if you’re shy.
