Are the little big planet server hosting things safe?

I’ve been looking into using Little Big Refresh or Beacon but I wanna know how safe it is.

I plan on playing by myself and just using it to make the online features work again so I can play whatever creations I want without having to do the whole process of finding and importing levels.

I read online tho that it’s actually not safe at all because people can easily force join you and upload a virus to your device but I’m not sure if that’s true since I’ve also heard these projects have a large community.

So how safe are the different projects if I were to play alone? And which one should I use? And also any other info would be great!

Thanks!
