I love when your boss/coworkers offers oh so helpful advice but don't listen to you

For context I work on a golf course as maintenance crew. My main job is using a mower I hate to mow around teeboxes and greens. It has almost 2,000 hours on it...and most of those 2,000 hours are me.

I know it's quirks and where it hates to drive and how to compensate for it's bullshit. I'm also one of two people who have actually run it to mow what I do and not just for transit or testing to make sure it's working.

Today, I was told that the sprinkler on one teebox was out of whack because all clues pointed to me. Coworker who figured it out told me "Don't turn on the sprinkler" and wouldn't listen when I said I didn't. I was actually still avoiding it because there's a little flag still posted next to it.

He kept talking over me and then my other coworkers laughed with another starting to suggest something that didn't make sense and when I tried explaining THAT she talked over me which had me trying to talk over her before I finally said "Fuck this" and left.

This is just one of many things. I normally deal with my boss who has the memory of a potato and doesn't listen to me at all. I try to explain something and it's apparently insubordination in his pea brain. Lately it's been "You need to be faster" but also "You need to figure out how to not leave tire tracks with your offset deck that is the width of one of your eight tires"

Meanwhile I can't do that half the time without driving on the green or tearing shit up with my god awful tires. Forget about doing it on teeboxes either because I'd be stopping to pull tees and put them back which would take a fucking long ass time with 80 teeboxes (yes, we have 80 fucking teeboxes)

Oh and speaking of the offset deck it's either I mow one direction all the time (which you can't because it starts laying the grass over) or leave tire tracks in some places because my tires stick out farther than my deck on one side.

I warned my boss about it years ago. He said it's fine but of course my coworkers are talking to me about stopping things I can't fucking stop doing and again, told my boss about and he said it's okay.

Now I'm hearing that his stupid pea brain forgot and he's going to jump me one of these over something HE TOLD ME TO DO!

What's WORSE is I have been told to change the way I mow with different patterns and methods and had to even teach myself new fucking tricks to pull off so many times I can't even list them because it'd be a bigger post than this.

Like, oh my god, if you have so many ideas then WHY DON'T YOU DO MY FUCKING JOB BECAUSE CLEARLY I'M AN IDIOT WHO DOESN'T KNOW A FUCKING THING!

I hate people and their stupid fucking opinions while refusing to listen to the god damn basically expert by this point when they explain why that won't work or is a bad idea.
