Is a hot spot worth a vet visit?

So I had literally just went to the vet last weekend. Got my dog's yearly check ups, I woke up today and saw my GSD has a hot spot on her cheek, great. Is it worth it to pay for another vet visit? 😭 I can probably stretch my budget to afford it. This is the first Hotspot I've had to deal with so any advice would be great.
