WHAT IF

I was rewatching MT, (have read a fair amount of it after the last ep too, but not much) | also, any LN spoilers are welcome.

I got a question, in 2x18 "turning point 3", mangod tells rudy to not go to save his mom and instead, wait for mating season and do the deed with one of the 2 beast girls. Man-god said that it will give him a better outcome. He also told him that if he goes to save his mom, he will regret it (and by it ig its missing his child's birth + his dad dying + his mom losing her momories)

SO, WHAT IF, he DIDNT go and did what mangod said and waited for mating season and whatever. Would there have been a possibility of a better outcome really? and even if not a "better" outcome, what would be the most likely thing/outcome to happen?
