PC, Any way to force PlayStation controller icons over Xbox?

I can't get them to show up for the life of me, just the Xbox icons. I've been trying for 2 days now...

-I'm using a Ps4 DualShock controller, the pcgamingwiki says it supports Ps5 DualSense controller, so I'm guessing that's why?

-Steam controller support MUST be on, I've already tried turning it off, my controller just wont work with it off.

-I've tried wired and wireless.

-I've fiddled with ds4windows and it only works if I have it emulating an Xbox controller, so it still shows Xbox icons.

-I've used hidhide alongside and it still wont work.

Is there ANY way to force it to show PlayStation icons? INI edit? special k mod? Anything?
