i knew it would end that way but WHYYYYYYY
im super disappointed, but like in a good way. i loved the story, the video is extremely well done and captivating. massive respect to the intense list of names in the credits.
but good god what does the cycle represent??? like this whole thing is a metaphor for your inner struggles and stuff. but whats the point if its the same time and time again? not everyone overcomes their struggles i acknowledge that, and some do fall back into the cycle. but this seems like the most pessimistic approach to the metaphor.
i was really hoping for something that represented the light of the world yknow? cause your mind can make the world an awful place, but people overcome themselves and i hoped this story would represent that. cycles represent infinity, and i was hoping we'd see it break, a sort of optimistic approach to the metaphor this story's been telling.
based on a storytelling perspective, yknow i get it's easier to make a cycle out of it. yes there's an end, but the end is the beginning and theres still a cannon ending at the end of the day. probably easier than a different ending.
anyways this was my take. im sure the guys are in a better place than they were 10+ years ago and id hoped the story would represent that. but it was well done regardless.
no wonder tyler (maybe) broke a rib filming that
