I am a Zionist, jew, Israeli who's family super involved in the Idf and are in super high roles - AMA

Imma give some background about me and my family. I am age 17 so I still haven't joined the idf (its mandatory to join the idf at 18 or after high school in Israel). I wont have any problem answering politic questions and so on and I will do my most to be as honest about what I think. Feel free to ask me anything

my dad - Has been in the Idf for 22ish years I think and quit 9 months ago and he was a colonel when he quit. He had a lot of roles through the years but almost all of his roles were very technological roles like engineering robots and missiles for the idf. A couple other cool roles he had was with he worked with special forces unit through Israel and the world to create like gadgets and robots they could use in combat.

My mom - My was a Commanding Officer of a Recruit Platoon, in her 4 year service she was a Commanding a Recruit Platoon so every time new soldiers have joined the army she basically was the drill surgent which isn't that special of a role but after she quit she joined a movement (I wont name it since its pretty big in Israel and it will be easy to identify her) that trains people to join special forces unit in Israel, teaches about Zionism and helps less fortunate kids from lower class family join the idf and staff like that and become the CEO for around 5 years and than she quit. After that she quit and did a couple of random things that I don't really know much about and now what she does is a couple things:

1. She joined a Political party in Israel - I wont say which but its not likud
2. she opened a consulting company for cities and places with lower life quality and money and staff like that and she basically makes a roadmap for them to improve and staff
3. she is very involved in making the super religious orthodox jews in Israel (חרדים) also join the idf since our number of combants is very low and the Reserves are always in the front lines since October 7th and barely see their families due to that (Israel has a huge problem of not enough combatants so every combatant we do have is in Gaza or Lebanon and we need the orthodox jews to serve also).

I am the oldest so I dont have other close family members that have been in the idf but other than that I have a lot of cousins who have been in intelligence unit like 8200 and more. I know personally a lot of people who served in the idf special forces and staff like that so feel free to ask me anything
