Medication somehow helped me quit nicotine
I am 23m, and have been addicted to nicotine since 2019. I started with cigs, then vape and then zyn/snus.
Have tried multiple times to stop, but it's so fucking hard, longest time I managed to without nicotine was 1 week, and never again.
Then last week I started on my medication (Aduvanz), and I just thought to myself. Now that I finally have something that can possibly change my life for the better, what if I try to quit nicotine as well.
The first 3 days were so good, felt like I had no withdrawals or anything, but now it's been 6 days and I kinda feel something is off, but I feel so good.
One of the things I struggled with was just the thoughts of the nicotine everytime, but now I don't even think much about it.
What I learned from this is, if you have a goal in mind, just fucking do it, and remember kids, never do nicotine. I didn't even feel the effects of the nicotine, I only felt the effects when I didn't do it and it was horrible, nothing good with it
