Lend me your ears - Rant.

I have a bit of a rant and looking for either support that my feelings are justified or im just making a mountain from a molehill. This is a summary of the past four months. Separate to this there have been incidents of gaslighting, condescending and patronising tone on emails, extremely poor communication, power plays to undermine my operational baseline with the team, amongst a smithering of other issues that collectively add to my "not my job" attitude.

For the past four months, I have been carrying the full responsibilities of two senior roles in parallel. One of these roles has not been backfilled, and I absorbed its workload in addition to my own to ensure continuity.

Despite repeatedly raising concerns in writing and in person, and clearly outlining the unsustainability of this arrangement, I have received little response or acknowledgement from the business. I have formally requested clarity on the long-term operating model (whether the vacant role will be backfilled or permanently consolidated with mine), and if consolidated, a formal alignment of responsibilities, title, and remuneration, or at minimum, an interim allowance until a decision is finalised.

To date, there has been no clear decision, and communication has often gone unanswered. The lack of clarity and prolonged delay are leaving the workload unsustainable and the situation untenable.
