Unpaid placement for social work degree

Im doing a career change and will be doing my Masters In Social Work Applied. I have four young kids and money is tight. How did people manage to do unpaid placement for 60days, while managing their normal job and studying? Can anyone provide feedback on how they did this?

I'll be studying part-time, working part-time over three yrs. I really dont want to lose my part-time job as we desperately need the money. Just hoping someone has been through this.
