Does my brother know I am gay ?

The other day I (19) was watching a funny football (soccer) video with my little brother (16) and it suddenly got homophobic . He turned it off and left awkwardly . What does that mean ? Does he know ?

Context : Not out but I don't hide anything . I live in a homophobic country .
