Title: The Pact Below

Plot:

A shy and introverted college student, relentlessly bullied and isolated on campus, finds solace in nature and often hikes to escape his grim reality. One day, while exploring a remote trail, he stumbles upon a hidden cave. Inside, he discovers an ancient, ominous-looking book—its pages inscribed with arcane symbols and instructions for summoning rituals.

On a whim—half out of despair, half out of curiosity—he follows one of the rituals without fully understanding what he's doing. To his horror (and awe), he accidentally summons a demon. She’s beautiful, sarcastic, and just as much of a menace as she is magnetic. The contract seals itself, binding his soul to her, even though he never consciously agreed.

At first, the demon torments him playfully, treating his misery like a game. She's flirty, smug, and clearly enjoys pushing his buttons. But over time, something begins to shift. She starts showing up when he's hurting, defending him in subtle ways, and even staying silent when he just needs someone to sit with. Their bond grows complicated—neither quite willing to admit they’ve started to care for each other.

One particularly brutal day, after being publicly humiliated and physically attacked by his usual tormentors, the student snaps. When the demon tries to tease him out of his spiral, he lashes out—harsh words, accusing her of being just like everyone else. Hurt and confused, he storms out to clear his head.

Hours later, still guilt-ridden and emotionally wrecked, he returns to his dorm. But something is wrong. The door is cracked open. Inside, he hears a slow, deliberate clapping… and the weak groans of someone
