A baby is a parasite until it is born - debate me

A fetus is, biologically speaking, a parasite until it’s expelled. It feeds off the mother, strips her body of nutrients, wrecks her bones, hijacks her hormones, and leaves scars that last a lifetime—sometimes costing her actual life. Postpartum depression is through the roof, maternal deaths are still very real, and yet society pretends pregnancy is some sacred blessing. No—it’s often brutal, dangerous, and soul-crushing. That’s why abortion is not just a right, it’s a lifeline. To call it “murder” is nothing but a patriarchal trick, a way for conservatives to keep women chained to suffering while preaching morality they’ll never have to bear in their own bodies. Women are not incubators. Abortion is healthcare, and no sanctimonious pro-life argument changes that fact.
