That thresher mission was one of the worst side quests I’ve ever played in Borderlands

I’ve played every Borderlands and Wonderlands to 100%. The early game mission about making threshers mate was so bad I just about turned off the game.

• Hike over to this cave and find thresher eggs
• Except they don’t mention killing the threshers to get eggs, or if they did then I didn’t catch it, you’re just supposed to assume that after all the incoherent rambling of the quest giver
• The quest radius is only part of the cave.. what’s up with the rest of the cave?
• Cool, fight like 100 threshers and kill the badasses. Oh but they dive in the ground every 0.001 seconds and stay there so good luck killing them
• Bring eggs back
• Oh guess what! Go fetch quest mangler meat
• Gotta go do that I guess
• Not terrible but yet another fetch in a fetch quest
• Sit around while quest giver rambles
• Fight this thresher but it doesn’t have a health bar
• Ring the bell three times and fight waves of other enemies
• Then do menial tasks

Like Jesus Christ who thought this was a good idea? This is like a 30 minute quest full of nothing.
