What is the speed of evolution and are we at the peak?

Have we as humans reached our peak of evolution or are we in the middle of something right now I'm not smart enough to recognise?

The thought came into my head reading another post about how we evolved learning to walk up straight on 2 legs and the pelvis being the right size for this, but makes giving birth tricky.
