3 day post-op ectopic with right tube removal

Filibriam Ectopic pregnancy found at 7w2d. Surgery was completed on Wednesday to remove the right tube along with the pregnancy growth. Recovery seems to be going well.

I go to a multi provider ob-gyn office so my diagnostic doctor was not the same as my regular doctor and my post op doctor is a doctor I’ve seen a few times but she’s not my regular doctor.

The diagnostic doctor wants me to take the methotrexate but my post-op doctor wants to wait til I see if my levels start going down on their own. I have an appointment on Wednesday to see the doctor and the want me to draw blood on Tuesday.

Has anybody had the removal and their levels went down without the medication?
