How is it maining Vanguards nowadays?

I was a Celestial Vanguard main back in S1-S2, but I stopped playing before S3 came out. I remember it was a struggle because in QP I would almost always be a solo tank and in Ranked I felt like no matter what I did, I was just at the mercy of how much my team wanted to listen to my comms and go in with me— too much reliance on healers when the other team’s coordinated, and usually not enough damage to make a difference if your team doesn’t push through or take good positions.

What’s it like now? Angela seems pretty fun, but I haven’t been able to play as her yet in a few games and it looks like a lot of the same issues are here, but I can’t tell if that’s just because people aren’t great at Angela yet or because they haven’t done much to make Vanguards feel a little more impactful.
