Questions about straight up betting.

Hey first post here ! I’m in California, and I have noticed that I can bet on straight up lineups for NFL and college football but not for boxing. Is there a reason for this?

Also, on an unrelated note, if I were to bet $50 and the payout was $200. Would I get the $50 back that I bet to total 250$ or would it just be 200 and the 50$ is the fee?
