Should I text him?

So last week we were just talking on social media and I asked him a question. He answered it and I asked him a follow up question just smt basic not asking him anything weird or too personal. He left me on delivered for the past like 3 or 4 days. Idk if i should send another text saying like hey or smt or just give it a rest. Even if i did say hey and he replied idk what to ask him… I just want help on what to do..
