I'd like advice on getting a new portable power gear
Hey everyone! I'm gearing up for a 3D/2N hiking w/ other 2 friends and weighing which portable charger to bring. We will have phones, headlamps,1 friend would take camera.
To avoid waiting for devices to charge from each other,
Here's what I'm looking at:
EcoFlow RAPID Pro Power Bank
27,650 mAh&300 W max output&140 W built-in cable&4 ports
Weight: ~1.5 lb
Familiar with EcoFlow from using the River 2—trustworthy quality
Baseus 145W Portable Power Bank
20,000 mAh&145 W max output&100 W built-in cable&4 ports
Weight: ~1.0 lb
Price: EcoFlow's $179 vs. $63
Impressive specs for the price and lighter weight
I don't mind spending on reliable gear, but I'm also mindful of budget and weight.
Questions for the Community:
For a 3-day / 2-night hiking, do you bring portable power bank at all?
Does anyone have experience with either of these two models (EcoFlow RAPID or Baseus 145W)?
Do you think it's necessary to carry a high-output (300 W), or do lower-output, lighter options work just fine for trekking needs?
