There are quiet floors and talking floors in Mugar

Talking low volume on first floor (outside of Riverview reading room) is allowed.

If you think ppl are being too loud, just kindly ask and they’ll most likely lower their volume.

No need to come off as accusatory (e.g. Where are your manners? How dare you …?) or manipulative (e.g. Are you tell me I can’t be here? Why are you being so emotional? Why are you screaming?).

If you want people to not sit next to you, come in at off-peak hours or sit in weird corners. Or you can book study rooms. You CANNOT make people leave their seats.

If you have a problem working around certain demographic of people, please stay at home.

If you only attack Asian people for being ill-mannered and don’t address white people talking on the phone or having group discussions, I will assume you have racial rancor.

I especially hate this when this is coming from a fellow POC.
