Switch 2- island transfer tool

Hello! I just got a switch 2 and I think I want to put my og/forever island on it. Has anyone had any issues using the island transfer tool between switch 1 and switch 2 ? I do not want to lose my island of 1500 hours to a glitch or what have you.

Any insight will be appreciated thanks !
