[Request] How fast would you need to run to impale yourself on a tree branch?

Rewatching horror-comedy Tucker and Dale vs Evil (2010), and the first death is a college kid who runs himself through on a tree branch, which inspired a debate as to whether or not that's possible. I found news stories showing you could stab yourself pretty grievously, but could you effectively run yourself through? How fast would you need to go to do so?
