Nexplanon & Periods

I got my nexplanon inserted, 03-06-23. My replacement date is 03-06-26 and that’s in 5m3wks and I’ve been here and there bleeding (discharge?) brownish substance. But this week starting on 09/07/25 my “period” started while having intercourse with my partner. I had no prior symptoms to know that it was even starting not even any bleeding before hand.. it’s now 09/13/25 and I’m still bleeding it’s getting need getting more heavy as the week progressed and now it’s more red. Has anyone else experienced this or know if this is normal? I’m not supposed to get the implant removed yet but should I talk to my Gynecologist? Help!
