"The Majority of the Dwellers of the Fire are Women"

[The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "I was shown the Hell-fire and that the majority of its dwellers were women who were ungrateful." It was asked, "Do they disbelieve in Allah?" (or are they ungrateful to Allah?) He replied, "They are ungrateful to their husbands and are ungrateful for the favors and the good (charitable deeds) done to them. If you have always been good (benevolent) to one of them and then she sees something in you (not of her liking), she will say, 'I have never received any good from you."]

Anytime I think of this hadith, it baffles me how anyone--specifically Muslim women-- can defend it. I didn't learn of this hadith until I had already apostatized, but I'm pretty sure if I heard about it as a Muslim, I would've just tried to bury it into the back of my mind like I did with all the other things I disliked in Islam. What about this doesn't scream a manmade religion that only benefits men 😂. That last sentence sounds like a nice guy(™), it's honestly laughable.

The fact that men have historically always been the propagators of war, sexual assault, murder, and generally all violent acts... But you're telling me women are going to be most of the ones burning in hell for refusing sex from their husbands or something of that sort. PLEASE 🤣
