Gosen O.G Sheep + Silicone Lube

I’ve learned that Og Sheep is a pretty good string, but one of its only negatives is that it loses snapback pretty quickly.

I’ve been told that crossing a good slick round string like restring sync

But I’m wondering if I ever wanted to use a full bed of OGSM (For budget or cosmetic reasons), would applying Silicon spray or something like WD40 help solve OGSM’s problem.
